Hibiscus Sabdariffa (or Roselle) is a symbol of happiness. This tropical flower is widely loved by people around the world becasue of its gorgeous beauty, distinctively tart flavor and amazing health benefits. The two most prominent characteristics of Hibiscus are red colour and tart flavour.

There are more than 200 species of Hibiscus in the world; however, the most popular to make food, beverage, medicine and consumer products are Hibiscus Sabdariffa. Because of its abundance of red factor, Hibiscus can also be used as food coloring. 

It has different name around the world such as Roselle, Rosella (Australia), Rosela (Indonesia), Bissap (some African countries and France), krajiab priaw (Thailand) , chin baung (Burma), Karkade (Egypt), Flor de Jamaica (Mexico), Asam Belanda (Malaysia).

Hibiscus has several nutrional and medicinal properties:

Our Journey

Since 1992, Thao Moc Beverages Production and Trading Company has been pioneering on researching and producing products from Hibiscus. After more than 24 years, it created the largest range of Hibiscus products in the world: Hibiscus wine, Hibiscus Syrup, Candied Hibiscus, Hibiscus Tea and other Hibiscus products. 

In 2012, Roselle Vietnam Trading & Services Company became exclusive distributor of Thao Moc factory. Roselle Vietnam re-branded all products of Thao Moc and launched various marketing and sales campaigns. And it quickly became the no.1 supplier of Hibiscus products in Vietnam. 

In 2016, Roselle Global Corporation Limited was established with the mission to extend the success of our Hibiscus products by bringing them to the global markets.

We can also make Hibiscus tea from fresh calyxes. 

Every 25 kilograms of Fresh Hibisucs Calyxes can only produce 1 kilogram of dried Hibiscus.

Scientist Mai Thi Tan - The woman who is considered as the mother founder of Hibiscus in Vietnam.

She has dedicated her life to the research and development of Hibiscus Sabdariffa calyxes since 1992.

Besides our own garden in the factory, we also work with farmers throughout Vietnam

to source highest quality of Hibiscus calyxes for our production.

From 2012 to 2016, Roselle Corporation has sponsored and participated in hundreds of events (music, golf tournament, exhibition, business, ...) to popularize the company & products images in Vietnam.

Mr. Joost de Vries - 40-year-experience tea expert from the Netherlands visited in 2014

and worked with Roselle Vietnam to develop new Hibiscus tea.
